Want to get involved?
Our auditions are a combination of dance, improvisation, prepared monologues and short workshops. We want to see performers who can connect with audience members and carry conversations, artists who value community building and connections, and people who are eager to collaborate and share their skills and expertise with others. We aim to hold general auditions at least once a year, so keep your eyes and ear peeled for upcoming chances to get involved!
Putting It Together... Bit by Bit...
We also have many volunteer opportunities on the horizon! We’ve already begun a knitting club for one of our upcoming projects (sssshhh!) and we host regular gatherings for folks to come together to craft, share snacks and foster community. As we close in on our next slate of shows, additional volunteer openings will arise, so stay tuned to our regular newsletter for more information!
All Together Now!
We want to function as a collective of equals who support each other. Our number one rule for members who want to join Dreamqueen is “Don’t Be A Jerk!” Many hands make light work, and we wouldn’t be able to realize the large-scale artistic endeavours we’re aspiring to make without the dedicated contributions of our cast, crew and volunteers.
